OneWebDay 2007 is just six months away. We’re working on making sure everyone knows about it, and we get emails all the time asking what’s going on for OneWebDay.
OneWebDay is You. Really. We suggest that you hold a brainstorming meeting in your town talking about how you’d like to celebrate the internet. Invite people to spend a couple of hours face to face. Talk about projects that you could take on that will actually happen on Sept. 22. For example: how about making a set of videos with interviews about how people use the internet and how it has changed their lives. Have people imagine what it would be like to not have the internet in their lives any more. Plan an outdoor online gathering where there’s music, talking, photographs, and visualization of online life. It’s you.
