How To Post a OneWebDay Video

Okay, so you’ve never done this before, but you’re interested in making a video about/for OneWebDay and making it available online. How do you do that?

1. make the video :-)

2. Go to blip.tv to get a hosting account: http://www.blip.tv/

3. When you log in, click on “upload”: http://blip.tv/file/post/

4. Type in a title, description and the “onewebday” tag

5. Add any other relevant tags, choose a Creative Commons license, and choose a category

6. click “browse” to find the movie file on your hard drive you wish to upload. (If you have a desired thumbnail, click on “browse” to upload it too -
otherwise, blip.tv will generate a thumbnail for you.)

7. Click on “post the file”

It should turn up within the hour (updated at the top of every hour) on the OneWebDay media stream (no registration required):

We’ll be watching from around the world.

Thanks to Dabble.com for making it easy!
